With a variety of exciting incursions and activities, the kids are sure to have a fun, action packed day. Our program is open to children aged 5-12. YMCA’s school holiday programs are jam-packed with activities designed to stimulate inquisitive minds, get kids physically active and discover new interests with friends and energetic facilitators.

Our experience working with children means that we understand their individual needs - we know it’s not a one size fits all approach! That’s why we have a range of programs to help improve your child’s physical and mental well-being. They will also have lots of fun with us!

    1:15 ratio for children over preschool age (5 years). 

    Program Hours:

    Our program runs on weekdays through the terms one, two and three school holidays from 7:30am - 6:00pm.

    New Families

    Enrolment For each child you wish to enrol in our child care service, you need to:

    Families already registered with My Family Lounge

    You can only book in during the registration period.

    • Sign in to My Family Lounge Website
    • Select the Child Care service/s you wish to enrol your child in
    • Complete enrolment form, upload immunisation history statement, upload any relevant medical action plans
    • Select which day/ days you want to enroll in

  • Fees, Payment and Subsidy
    Fees

    Centre based day - $60.00

    Incursion - $80.00

    Excursion - $90.00

    (No half days available)

    Late pick-up (after 6:30pm) incurs a fee of $2 per minute.

    Payments
    Account payments are processed by direct debit fortnightly, unless you make alternate arrangements. Direct debit information must be collected as part of enrolment process.

    You will be contacted within 5 working days in regards to payment. We request all amounts owing be paid before commencement of the program.
    Child Care Subsidy

    This program qualifies for the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) offered by the Federal Government.

    The CCS is calculated by a number of factors including: activity level, combined family income, service type and hourly rates. 

    From July 2nd 2018 the government introduced a new child care package – Child Care Subsidy (CCS). To receive CCS, you will need to give Centrelink extra information using your Centrelink online account through myGov. If you don’t have a myGov account, you can create one and link your Centrelink online account to it. 

    *ALL FAMILIES MUST COMPLETE THEIR CCS REGISTRATION regardless if you are claiming CCS or not.

    Cancellations

    Cancellations without fee can be made up to 7 days prior to the start of the program. There are no refunds on cancellations without a medical certificate, once the program commences. 

    Please note: Full fee will be charged if your child is absent without a medical certificate on the first or last day of their booking. This is a government requirement. Management reserves the right to cancel a child’s enrolment if their behaviour is deemed dangerous or unacceptable. Parents will be notified prior to a cancellation of enrolment.
