The key to staying motivated is finding something you enjoy, which is why we offer a huge range of classes for all ages and fitness levels at Diamond Creek Community Centre.
We hold over 70 classes every week in our Group Fitness rooms. Classes range in intensity and duration, from 15 to 60 minutes so everyone has time to work out.
A combination of Pilates, Yoga and Ballet movements, focusing on core strength and stability. Exercises are paired with stretches between sets to elongate muscles and release stress and tension.
A pre-choreographed mind body class set to inspiring music. Featuring movement and techniques that draw from Yoga, Tai Chi and Pilates, you will leave this class feeling aligned, strong and energised.
A pre-choreographed step class featuring simple and easy to follow movement sequences on and around an adjustable step platform. Challenging and enjoyable for the beginner to experienced exerciser.
Boxing classes encompass both the technical aspects of boxing, along with core strengthening exercises. You will learn boxing skills such as correct form in throwing jabs, hooks and uppercuts, whilst working at an intense pace.
A combination of high and low intensity exercises focusing on the core. Uses a range of equipment including barbells, dumbbells, steps, and even body weight exercises to help burn fat and improve cardiovascular health.
Use bodyweight, resistance tubing and weights to tighten and tone your midsection. Improve your functional strength for better mobility and injury prevention.
A freestyle fitball routine designed to improve your balance and strengthen your core muscles for an all-over stronger body. Our Fitball classes will give your core a solid workout, while conditioning your entire body.
Build and sculpt lean muscles through a series of functional exercises and movements including kettlebells.
Low Impact Training is designed to build strength and boost cardio fitness, with low-impact exercises to minimise stress on the joints. Get your heart-rate up and with Tabata-style sprints on rowers and bikes, coupled with total body strength moves.
Practicing the art of mindfulness, or meditation, has the ability to improve levels of depression, anxiety, obesity, stress, happiness and fatigue. These 45 minute guided meditation sessions are run by an experienced facilitator and are designed for both beginners and people wishing to extend their existing practice.
A mat-based class that focuses on improving balance, flexibility, coordination, and core strength through the fundamental principles of Pilates.
A program specifically for over 50’s to regain and maintain muscular strength utilising light hand weights and fitballs. Conducted in an accessible, safe and friendly group environment by our accredited trainers, this class is suitable for people with osteoporosis, heart disease and diabetes.
Combining weight training and metabolic conditioning to improve your strength and enhance your performance - teaching you how to move more efficiently and perform better both in training and everyday life. Classes will include mobility, strength and a metabolic conditioning workout to help build and maintain lean muscle, and increase strength, metabolism and overall fitness levels.
A complete workout designed to burn calories, build fitness and improve energy levels, flexibility, balance, agility and core strength. A challenging mix of lunges, squats, functional training and tubing exercises, with a wide variety of options accommodating to all fitness levels.
